On November 25, 2023, a transformative Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program unfolded at the Longhouses in Batang Ai, Lubok Antu, leaving an indelible mark on both the community and the environment. Our CSR initiative aimed to deepen understanding and raise awareness about climate change, carbon credits, and sustainable practices. The program sought to engage the local community and instill a sense of stewardship towards the environment.

An enlightening climate change awareness talk illuminated the common causes and impacts of climate change, emphasizing the urgent need for action. Superb Cleaning Services Company, a proud member of Regenerative X, contributed significantly by providing volunteer cleaning services. Their dedicated team demonstrated remarkable diligence in maintaining outdoor communal spaces, showcasing a commendable commitment to community well-being and environmental upkeep.

Integral to our program was meaningful engagement with the local community. Discussions and idea-sharing sessions facilitated a clearer understanding of climate change and the benefits of carbon credits. To show support for education, stationery items were donated to the children.

Beyond environmental initiatives, the program featured a boat-making activity with the longhouse community and captivating cultural performances by the cultural club of i-CATS University College. Traditional music and dance showcased the rich artistic heritage of the community, fostering an atmosphere of celebration and unity.
