The Rainforest World Music Festival 2024, held from June 28th to 30th at the Sarawak Cultural Village, was a vibrant celebration of music and culture with a strong focus on sustainability. This year, Regenerative X Association (RXA), in collaboration with the Sarawak Tourism Board (STB), managed the site waste management to ensure the festival's eco-friendly aspirations were met.

RXA crews and coordination teams diligently oversaw waste collection and segregation throughout the festival. They maintained Eco-stations equipped with labeled bins for plastic, metal, glass, general waste, and food waste, ensuring effective waste segregation and education for attendees. Additionally, eco-friendly smoking zones with coconut ashtrays and thorough ground cleanliness measures were implemented to keep the festival environment pristine.
